First thing you’ll need is to shoot your interview, so you’ll open up the Camera app.
Then, with the camera in Video mode, shoot your interview, making sure to record each of your subject’s answers as a separate sound bite.
Now that you have your interview, you’re ready to make it into an edited Newsmaker video using Videolicious.
First, you’re going to Choose Shots, but only select the visual “b-roll” shots, not the interview clips you just did with your interview subject. Then tap Save to go to the next step.
Then to bring in the interview clips you shot, you have to tap Import first.
Find the interview clip(s) that you want to use, and tap to select. Then tap Save to go to the next step.
Now to put the b-roll shots together with the sound bites, tap play to play the sound bites, and tap on each b-roll shot where it should appear in your final video. The green progress bar indicates how low long each interview sound bite will last.
Tap the play button and watch the preview to see how your b-roll shots and sound bites have been automatically edited together, based on when you tapped.
