When you register for Videolicious, we collect different types of personally identifiable information such as a name, e-mail address, password, credit or debit card information that you provide to us. A free Personal account does not require our users to provide any credit card information. When a user decides to purchase a Business or Business Plus Videolicious subscription, we use a third party to process credit cards and this third party is not allowed to use provided billing information in any way except to process credit card payments on behalf of Videolicious. Users can modify their account information in the My Account section of the Videolicious website. Videolicious uses the account information to operate the Service, for billing, authentication, user contact, and to help make Videolicious the best possible video creation platform for our users.
We may also collect certain information automatically when you use the Service, such as the type of browser and operating system you are using, your IP address, Internet service provider, platform type, your use of the Service, including the websites, and other data. When you use a Service application on your mobile device, we may also collect information about your location and your unique device identifier.
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests and to send you administrative information, such as updates to our Service policies or features. We may also use the information we collect to personalize your experience and to offer you products, programs, features or services that may be of interest. We may combine information we receive with outside records and share such information with third parties to enhance our ability to market to you those products or services that may be of interest to you. In addition, we may use the information we collect from and about you for our business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, and improving our marketing and our services. We use cloud server hosting partners to provide video storage and management, and we transmit and store user account information on these servers, and use commercially reasonable measures to safeguard the personally identifiable information under our control. Sensitive information on our registration or order forms is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL), and we use security measures to prevent the unauthorized release or access of the personal information we collect. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or a wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If we become aware that a child under thirteen (13) has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete such information from our system.
Your information and data may be transferred to and maintained in whole or in part on computer networks which may be located outside of the state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction in which you reside, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules than in your jurisdiction.
